Listing Guidelines

1. PURPOSE OF THESE GUIDELINES

These Listing Guidelines explain the standards required for businesses that wish to be listed on moris.click.

moris.click is a national B2B business directory serving Mauritius. Our objective is to maintain a credible, professional, and reliable platform that benefits both listed businesses and directory users.

To protect the integrity of the platform, all listings must meet minimum quality, accuracy, and compliance standards.

Submission of a listing does not guarantee approval. All listings are subject to review and approval at the sole discretion of moris.click.

2. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for listing, a business must:

  • Operate legally within Mauritius
  • Provide genuine products or services
  • Have verifiable contact information
  • Be authorised by the person submitting the listing

We may request proof of business registration or supporting documentation if necessary.

We reserve the right to refuse listings that:

  • Cannot be verified
  • Appear inactive
  • Present reputational risk
  • Do not align with the directory’s business focus

3. BUSINESS NAME STANDARDS

Your listing must display your official or trading business name.

You must not:

  • Use excessive keywords in the name field
  • Add promotional phrases (e.g., “Best Company in Mauritius”)
  • Include phone numbers in the name field
  • Use ALL CAPS unnecessarily
  • Imitate another business name

The business name should reflect how your company is known publicly and legally.

If your business name violates these standards, we may edit or reject the listing.

4. DESCRIPTION GUIDELINES

Your business description should clearly explain:

  • What your company does
  • Who you serve
  • The services or products offered
  • Your area of operation

Descriptions must:

  • Be written in professional language
  • Be accurate and not misleading
  • Avoid exaggerated claims
  • Avoid false guarantees
  • Avoid defamatory references to competitors

We do not allow:

  • Copy-pasted content from competitor websites
  • Plagiarised material
  • Keyword stuffing designed only for search ranking
  • Irrelevant or repetitive content

Descriptions may be edited for formatting and clarity if necessary.

5. CONTACT INFORMATION REQUIREMENTS

All listings must include accurate and current contact information.

This may include:

  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Physical address (if applicable)
  • Website link

You must ensure that:

  • Phone numbers are active
  • Email addresses are monitored
  • Addresses are accurate

Providing fake or unreachable contact details may result in removal of the listing.

Businesses are responsible for updating their information if changes occur.

6. CATEGORY SELECTION

Businesses must select categories that accurately reflect their primary services.

You must not:

  • Select irrelevant categories for additional exposure
  • Misclassify your services
  • Attempt to appear in unrelated sectors

Incorrect categorisation may mislead users and reduce platform credibility.

moris.click reserves the right to reassign categories where necessary.

7. IMAGES & LOGOS

Images and logos must:

  • Belong to your business or be properly licensed
  • Be high quality and clear
  • Accurately represent your services
  • Not contain offensive or misleading content

You must not upload:

  • Stock images without permission
  • Images copied from competitors
  • Low-resolution or distorted graphics
  • Images containing false awards or certifications

We may remove or resize images to maintain visual consistency.

8. PROHIBITED BUSINESSES

moris.click does not accept listings that:

  • Promote illegal services
  • Operate fraudulently
  • Sell counterfeit goods
  • Engage in deceptive practices
  • Present unacceptable legal or reputational risk

We reserve the right to refuse any business that may damage the credibility or legal standing of the platform.

9. QUALITY CONTROL & REVIEW PROCESS

All listings may undergo a review process before publication.

We may:

  • Edit formatting
  • Correct obvious typographical errors
  • Request clarification
  • Request documentation
  • Reject submissions

Approval timelines may vary depending on review requirements.

We are not obligated to provide detailed reasons for rejection.

10. UPDATES & MAINTENANCE

Businesses are responsible for keeping their listings accurate and up to date.

Outdated information may result in:

  • Reduced visibility
  • Temporary suspension
  • Removal

If we cannot verify business activity or if contact details are consistently unreachable, we may deactivate the listing.

11. PAID PLAN RESPONSIBILITIES

Pro and Elite subscribers receive enhanced exposure benefits. However:

  • Paid plans do not exempt businesses from quality standards
  • Paid plans do not guarantee ranking position
  • Paid plans do not override platform rules

Violations of listing standards may result in suspension even if the subscription is active.

12. PLATFORM DISCRETION

moris.click reserves the right to:

  • Edit listings for formatting consistency
  • Reclassify categories
  • Remove inappropriate content
  • Reject listings
  • Suspend accounts

Access to the directory is a privilege, not an entitlement.

All decisions regarding listing approval or removal are made at the sole discretion of Whitestone Ventures Limited.
